RSS feed

Scrolling through your morning brew of news updates and long reads used to be a joyful part of being on the internet. You'd open up your tabs or your email, browse, click, read, bookmark, move on. Sometimes, you'd even go back for those bookmarked pieces.

Fast forward to today: Scrolling through a feed of content often looks more like searching, clicking, getting paywalled, wading through ads, and maybe reading a little, all while having your browsing data scraped and gathered.

That's the case, that is, if you aren't using a full-text RSS feed, which lets you aggregate all new posts from your favorite publishers and websites into one user-friendly interface. In many ways, RSS feeds haven't changed from the days of yore, but they have become a valuable and sought-after tool in a time when surfing the web feels more like swimming on one of those beaches that's more litter than water.

Whether you pay for a private RSS feed or choose to use a free option, Mothership wants to facilitate a less annoying, more private web-surfing experience that lets you control your data and your user experience. That's why we provide a private, full-text RSS feed to all paying subscribers.

To connect your Mothership subscription to your RSS reader, log in to your account on the site and visit the Advanced Settings page. Click or copy and paste the link into your reader, and you're set. (If you're a free subscriber, this page will appear empty.)
